Catskill Lean-to Repair and Reconstruction Crews
Shandaken Lean-to Reconstruction Project

Location: Shandaken Lean-to on Shandaken Brook in Seager, NY (Catskills Map #142)
New Volunteers are welcome and no prior experience is necessary.
We will prepare a new lean-to site, transport building materials to the site, build a new lean-to and remove the old lean-to when the new lean-to is complete.

Diamond Notch Lean-to in the Catskills Repaired in June 2010 & John Robb Lean-to Reconstructed in 2009 by Volunteers from the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference and the Catskill 3500 Club
Thanks to so many wonderful volunteers, a brand new John Robb lean-to was built in 2009 and in 2010 we rehabilitated the Diamond Notch lean-to, which was in desperate need of a new roof and floor, among other improvements. The executive committee of the 3500 Club generously agreed to fund the project.
