LP and SRT Trail Crew
The Trail Conference trail crews are made up of volunteers dedicated to the construction and rehabilitation of foot trails in the Southern New York and Northern New Jersey area. Volunteers do not have to become members of the Trail Conference to participate in these projects, however membership is encouraged so that you can enjoy benefits such as discounts on Trail Conference publications and with our retail partners.
For all trips bring work gloves, water, lunch and friends.
Most trips welcome beginners and will provide training!

Spring / Summer 2012
We have several LARGE projects on the Long Path, including a major reroute in Orange County that will eliminate miles of road walking, completing the major reroute through Mine Hole in Minnewaska State Park that was begun in 2011, and a major reroute in the Catskills that will reduce the last big road walk in that area.
On Saturday 5/19 - Long Path reroute @ Minnewaska State Park
We'll be blazing, along with any other work needed, in order to prepare for this rerouted segment's June 2nd National Trails Day grand opening!
Some tools will be available for waterbar and treadway work but bring clippers if you have them, as well as work gloves, water, lunch--and friends! Feel free to contact the leader with any questions.
