| Trails Overview: | The Shawungunk Ridge Trail (Aqua) hugs the easter shore of the lake and the red blazed former D&H Canal tow path can be followed on the west. The New York/New Jersey Trail Conference provides a free map of the SRT. The Bashakill can be found in the middle section. |
| Directions: | From New York Route 17 use exit 113 to take New York Route 209 south toward Port Jervis. When you see the Moose Lodge on your left, make a left turn onto Haven Road, where there are some parking spots. Other parking areas are marked on the above map. Check Shortline (Coach USA) for bus service to nearby locations. |
