Park Description:

Part of the Dutchess County Park System, the park is on rolling terrain with open views of the Hudson. Its many public facilities include picnic pavilions, cabins and playing fields available by reservation and with fee. The trail system includes a cross-country course. There is no fee for entrance to the park, but some of the amenities have a charge for use.

The longest trail here is 2.8 miles, which roughly follows the perimeter of the park.

Directions:

From NY 9D north of the village of Wappingers Falls, turn left onto Delavergne Ave. and left again onto Sheafe Rd. The entrance is on the right. Park is one mile from the New Hamburg Metro North station.
