Park Description:

Camp Jefferson was purchased by Jefferson Township in 199 with Green Acres funds. It has a state of the art playground and serves as the headquarters for the township's Recreation Department. There is a Community Lodge, a Recreation Center, three cabins for Scouting and a BD&W Model Train cabin.
Trails Overview:

A 1.5 mile loop hike utilizing a section of fthe Highlands Trail can be taken from this park.
Directions:

Follow I-80 to Exit 34B (Jefferson/Sparta) and proceed north for 5.0 miles on N.J. Route 15. Take the exit for Weldon Road and Milton, continue north on Weldon Road for 0.5 mile, and turn left into the parking area for Camp Jefferson (the parking area is just before the sign for “Camp Jefferson” on the left side of the road).
