| Trails Overview: | Trails at Rockleigh Woods Sanctuary and the adjacent Lamont Reserve comprise a network of about 4.5 miles that includes former farm and logging roads as well as footpaths. Difficulty ranges from an easy walk around Sneden Ice Pond to a steep climb along Roaring Brook or Lamont Rock. The trail system is described as approximating 'circles within circles.' Various combinations of hikes are possible. All start at Rockleigh Borough Hall, where parking is available. Bicylces are allowed in the Rockleigh Woods (blue Hutcheon Trail and western half of the yellow Sneden-Haring-Lamont Trail). A trail map can be found online: click here . |
