Preserving the Major Welch Trail

The Major Welch Trail at Bear Mountain State Park is getting some much-needed attention this fall. Many new volunteers are getting training in special rock work trail skills from others with more experience as part of a Trail U series of field courses on the trail. The work is expected to continue through the season.
