The Aquatic Invasives Strike Force crew invites you out on the water to help stop the spread of one of the Northeast's most aggressive invaders!
The Aquatic Invasives Strike Force Crew will be pulling invasive water chestnut (Trapa natans) at Rockland Lake State Park—and they need your help! Come out for a full day or even just a couple of hours.
This event is a partnership with the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historical Preservation,Teatown, and the Trail Conference Conservation Corps. Some boats will be available to early registrants, but please feel free to bring your own kayak or canoe if you have one. Bring plenty of water, snacks, and a can-do attitude.
