Morris County Trail Crew Work Trip

Registration is closed for this event
Ever wonder how trails are built? If you aren’t afraid to get a little dirty, this hands-on look at how great trails are made is for you!

Join our Morris County Trail Crew to get a taste of what trail building's all about.

Volunteers will assist the Morris County Crew in constructing a 1 mile reroute of a section of the Blue Trail in order to reduce erosion and other negative impacts. Work may involve clipping or sawing vegetation, raking, trail surface excavation with hand tools, large rock moving and structure building, and re-naturalization of the old route. This is a big project that needs lots of hands to help!

Connect with nature, meet great people, and make a difference. No experience is necessary!
