Talk on Rain Barrels & Rain Gardens at Bergen-Passaic Native Plant Society Meeting

Would you like to learn about managing rain water, reducing water usage and rain barrels? Come join us at this month's meeting.

Join us at the Trail Conference headquarters for the monthly meeting of the Bergen-Passaic chapter of the Native Plant Society of New Jersey. We share information amoung native plant enthusiasts and have informative talks on native plants. Meetings are free and open to the public.

Our speaker will be Amy Rowe, Environmental and  Resource Management Agent for Essex and Passaic Counties,

Amy will speak about how to stop stormwater runoff at the source, reduce water usage, and improve water quality using rain barrels and rain gardens. She will also cover how to build and/or install them.

Trail Conference headquarters is located on Route 202, Ramapo Valley Road, in Mahwah, just north of Ramapo Valley County Reservation and opposite the turnoff for Darlington Road. The parking lot is small, but overflow parking is available next door at the Ramapo College South Lot with a walk on sidewalk to the building. Attendees should carpool or arrive early to park near the building.
