Crossover trail in Ringwood

Took my first hike of the 2015 season in Ringwood along the Ringwood-Ramapo Blue/ Crossover loop on 4/11. First, let me mention the huge black bear I spotted crossing my path about 70 yards ahead of me at the second rock outcrop, not far after the 1st west facing outcrop along the Ringwood-Ramapo Trail. . I slowly back tracked and took out my bear spray just in case he had any ideas . I waited for a while until a few more hikers and bikers went by but the bear had left the area. Impressive animal but definitely commands respect.

Would also like to mention the issue I had along the Crossover Trail on the return leg at a 4 way intersection. At the bottom of the carraige trail you have 4 options and there are no well placed white blazes to show exactly which trail to take. If you make a sharp left ,you wind up at the model airplane field. Decending straight ahead, you realize there are no blazes and the footpath to the left also is not marked. You must take turn left then bear right keeping the field to your left..
