1,705 comments released by NPS regarding gas line proposal

Armed with a slew of public comments — 1,705 all together — National Park Superintendents John J. Donahue and Pamela Underhill will now begin writing a draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) addressing the proposal by PSE&G and PP&L to construct a higher, wider and more powerful transmission network through the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, the Appalachian National Scenic Trail and the Middle Delaware National Scenic and Recreational River.
