Join the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference’s Conservation Corps Trail Stewards on an approximately five-mile, roundtrip loop hike to Millbrook Mountain in Minnewaska State Park Preserve. Along the way, the stewards will educate participants on native plant and animal species and how to observe them safely and responsibly. This hike includes a variety of terrain, including open rock slabs, uneven footing, and one stream crossing. Participants should come well-prepared with appropriate footwear. The meeting place will be in front of the Lake Minnewaska Visitor Center.
Please dress appropriately for the weather, and bring plenty of water, lunch/snacks, and other creature comforts. We look forward to exploring with you!
Please note: There is a $10 per vehicle entrance fee at Minnewaska State Park Preserve. (Those with a valid Empire Pass will not need to pay this fee).
