The Great Out-Doors

Merrell has partnered with artist Jenny Siegfried for an art installation currently on view outside Trail Conference Headquarters in Mahwah, N.J. The installation invites visitors to walk through a doorway entering the beautiful natural surroundings of the great outdoors in two enticing ways. The front of the door depicts a sweeping view of majestic Mt. Tammany, located in the Delaware Water Gap.

A delightful yellow trail winds through the landscape, highlighting native trees and flowers along the way. The reverse of the door engages visitors to start their own outdoor journey with a scavenger hunt of summer blooming native flowers that could all be spotted just around the next switchback or trail turn.
